Just arrived back from Cruise with P&O Ventura. What a fabulous ship.
Found her very spacious although there was 3,500 people on board, always
room to lounge about. Quite a few children on board but they were
always very busy doing something with the staff. The cabins are very
spacious, we liked the idea there are no doors on wardrobes which
saved any noise and the cabins seem to be more sound proof altogether.
The food was out of this world in all of the restuarants and the staff
were marvellous.
The entertainment could have been better, it was more directed to the
younger audience and also too much acrobatics in the performances but
they did put on a couple of good comedians, and singers such as Darren
Day who was really good.
All in all our holiday was good and we shall definately go back on the
Ventura.

previously sailed on Aurora and enjoying this I was a bit nervous after
reading a few negative reviews about Ventura. Well I didn't have to worry,
she is a big ship and it did take a few days to find our way around but once
we did we started to enjoy the facilities. I have 2 children (14,11) who did
not join the kids club but found plenty to occupy themselves with.
Entertainment was good, cabins well laid out for families sharing.
Only 2 negative comments -
Food - was repeated a few times in buffet (main meal options, themed nights).
In main restaurant we were on 2nd sitting in the Safron restaurant and found
this a very rushed meal each night due to staff wishing to finish. We had
same meal times on Aurora and did not feel this was the case.
Hygiene - I would have liked to have seen more use of the anti-bacterial wash
, (not compulsory when entering dining room or when leaving or re-boarding
ship as is the case on other ships).
Overall had a great relaxing holiday and looking forward to next years
holiday.
We would sail again on Ventura but only if the ports suited us not for the
ship.
